Objectives

Empirical pedagogical and psychological research in vocational education, vocational training, adult education, vocational teacher training, mentoring, higher education pedagogy, and border areas of engineering, information technology and security sciences.

1. The psychological determinants of a successful teaching role, with particular regard to engineering teacher training
2. The role of individual differences in learning
3. Development of algorithmic approaches in engineering education
4. Development and measurement of visuospatial abilities
5. Development and application of e-materials and virtual learning environments

8. Pedagogical research in co-operation with Hungarian institutions neighbour counties
9. The boundaries of engineering, IT and security sciences from the point of view of pedagogical research

Activities

• Individual and joint research with partner institutions in Hungary and institutions in neighbour countries
• Participation in research applications
• Dissemination of research results in conferences, journals and books
• Supervising PhD students’ works, supporting research group, supporting research groups
• Organization of scientific conferences
